✔ Identification Requirements
All signers must present a valid government-issued photo ID
that includes:
- Photograph
- Signature
- Physical description
- Current or recently expired status
✔ Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Mississippi Driver's License
- State Identification Card
- U.S. Passport
- Military ID
We cannot notarize documents without proper identification.
✔ Signer Requirements For a notarization to proceed:
- The signer must be physically present
- The signer must be aware and willing
- The document must be complete (no blank spaces)
- The signer must understand they are signing voluntarily
We reserve the right to refuse service if legal requirements are not met.
✔ Fees & Payment Policy
Mississippi law allows a maximum of $5 per notarial act.
OBMS may charge additional mobile travel or convenience fees. All fees are disclosed prior to the appointment.
Accepted payment methods:

- Zelle
- Other approved digital payments
Payment is due at time of service unless prior arrangements are made.
✔ Mobile Service Policy
We provide mobile notary services to homes, offices, hospitals, and business
Travel fees are based on:
• Distance
- Time of day
- Urgency (after-hours appointments available)
✔ Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled with less than 2 hours notice may incur a travel fee if the notary is already in route.
No-shows may be subject to full travel fee.
